A Brief History

Established in 1968, Wexford Farmers Co-op (WFC) is one of the largest and most progressive producer-owned farming organisations in the South East. With over five decades of experience at the heart of the agricultural industry, WFC has grown into a highly diversified co-operative with strong interests across livestock, land, residential, and commercial property markets.

Our focus has always been on delivering value for our members. Today, we proudly serve over 4,000 members by maximising returns while providing customers with a competitive, transparent marketplace to buy and sell livestock and produce. Our range of services and expertise ensures fair trading, supported by the infrastructure and professionalism our customers expect.

All profits are reinvested into the co-op, enabling continued growth, development, and improved services for our members and customers.

WFC Livestock Division

The core of our business is the WFC Livestock Mart, located on the Old Dublin Road, Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford. Originally established in 1968 as Co. Wexford Marts, the mart remains a vital hub for agricultural trade in the region. The livestock division is currently managed by Kevin Murphy, supported by an experienced and dedicated team.
