Brief History

Established in 1968, WFC is one of the largest and most progressive producer-owned farming businesses in the South East.

With over 50 years experience at the centre of the agricultural industry coupled with highly diversified interests in land, residential and commercial markets, we are committed to maximising returns for our 2,500 shareholders, while providing our customers a competitive marketplace to buy and sell their produce.

Our profits are used to grow and develop the business enabling us to continue to meet our customers needs.

WFC Livestock Division

The hub of the business is centered around our livestock mart, located on the Old Dublin Road, Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford, which commenced business in 1968 as Co. Wexford Marts. This division is currently managed by Kevin Murphy.

Our range of services and expertise provides our customers with the tools and infrastructure necessary to trade their livestock and produce on an open and fair market.

UPCOMING SALES

Weekly Sales

Ringside & Online Cattle Sale – Tuesdays at 10:00, including Cull Cows, Sucklers, Heifers, Bullocks and Weanlings. All cattle must be penned by 10:00.

Ringside & Online Sheep Sale – Wednesdays at 10:30, including Cull Ewes, Lambs, Hoggets, Brood ewes and Rams. All sheep must be penned by 10:00.

Ringside & Online Calf Sale – Wednesdays at 10:00. Calves must be penned by 9:30. Calf collection is now available. For further information, contact Kevin on 086 7856357.

Premier Show and Sale of Pedigree Rams

WFC Enniscorthy Mart are delighted to be hosting the County Wexford Sheep Breeders Annual Show and Sales of Pedigree Rams again this year.

This years sales schedule is as follows:

Premier Show and Sale: Wednesday 21st August at 12:30

2nd Sale: Wednesday 11th September at 12:30

3rd Sale (Evening): Monday 23rd September at 7pm

Final Sale: Wednesday 9th October at 12:30

Offices to Let

WFC Enniscorthy Mart has office’s to let for immediate occupancy on the ground floor and first floor. These work spaces are suitable for offices/agribusinesses and are located within 1.5 miles of Enniscorthy town.

Lairage

WFC boasts first class lairage facilities located at Enniscorthy mart. Facilitating animals travelling long distances to arrive prior to sale or be held post sale for further transport. These facilities are particularly suitable for animals travelling to the UK or Continental Europe through Rosslare harbour.
